Block the Pig is a turn-based puzzle game developed by Sun Temple and later expanded by Vladislav Aleksandrov that challenges players to block a cunning pig on a hexagonal board . The goal is simple: trap the pig before it escapes the board’s edges.

How to Play

• Board Setup: Pig starts center, surrounded by scattered rocks.
• Initial Placement: ​​You get 3 bonus blocks to seal off immediate exits.
• Pig Moves: Pig hops one space toward the border per turn.
• Your Block: After each pig moves, place one more stone.
• Endgame: You win when all escape routes are blocked; lose if the pig reaches an edge

Strategy Tips

• Focus your initial blocks on the most obvious escape exits
• Use stones to create narrow, 1‑tile corridors, making it easier to block
• Take advantage of the pre‑placed stones; sometimes they're enough to trap the pig with your bonus blocks
