Each successful pass through a pair of pipes awards one point, and the game ends if the bird collides with a pipe or the ground.

Additionally, Flappy Bird has made a comeback on Android devices over a decade after its original viral success and subsequent removal. The re-release is available exclusively through the Epic Games Store for Android, courtesy of Flappy Bird Publishing, and notably excludes any cryptocurrency or Web3 elements that were previously rumored. Instead, the game is monetized strictly through ads and in-app purchases for cosmetic items. This marks a shift from earlier plans to make Flappy Bird a community-owned Web3 game. The revival is set to include continual content updates throughout 2025, featuring new worlds, characters, and themes

Original creator Dong Nguyen, who removed the game in 2014 due to stress and concerns over player addiction, is not involved in the new release and does not benefit financially. The game's rights were acquired by the Flappy Bird Foundation by purchasing the abandoned trademark. Initially launched in 2013, Flappy Bird soared in popularity in 2014 with over 50 million downloads before being pulled from app stores. Its simplistic charm inspired numerous imitators, although none matched its cultural impact.

How to Play

• Navigate Obstacles: Guide the bird through gaps between pairs of green pipes. Each successful pass through a gap earns you one point. The pipes' heights vary, but the gap between them remains constant.
• Avoid Collisions: Hitting a pipe or the ground ends the game. You have only one chance before it's Game Over
• Aim for High Scores: The goal is to navigate as many pipes as possible without crashing. The longer you stay afloat, the higher your score
